Lars Von Trier
Is a well-known film maker from Denmark, who studied film at the Danish Film School where he created his very first feature The Elements of Crime which attracted international attention. The Elements of Crime was an experiment of light and mood combination of yellow-tinted monochrome cinematography and haunted atmosphere for a visual experience. He has also done other films such as Epidemic (1987) and Europa (1991) with the same combination of style and later on put it into TV soap opera Twin Peaks, combining ghost/horror style of surrealism which was very successful in Denmark.
